Want to move to another apartment within SYP? You can, but it works almost like renting a new apartment.
- Get named by the current tenant. The tenant who is leaving the apartment names you as the next tenant on their rent release form, in the comment section at the bottom.
- Qualify again. You go through the full qualification process: your income must be 3.5 to 4 times the rent. The only step you skip is the lottery.
- Sign a new contract. You get a new rental contract, and the minimum rental period of one year applies again.
